Additional Information

Maura Houtenbos studied psychology at VU University Amsterdam. In September 2002, she started as researcher at SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research participating in studies on, for example, cyclists,  young drivers, enforcement and credibility of speed limits and distracted road users. She received a PhD from Delft University of Technology in 2008 for her research on interactive driving behaviour at intersections and the role of expectations.
